​The mission of the Federal OCS program is to train, evaluate, and commission Second Lieutenants into the United States Active Army, the Army National Guard, or the Army Reserves.

Federal OCS is a 12-week course of instruction conducted at Fort Benning, Georgia. During this period, you will receive E5 pay.

Prerequisites

• Complete a Chapter 2 Physical Exam within 6 months prior to date of application.

• Must have a bachelor's degree.

• Pass a secret security clearance.

• Must be no older than 35 years of age.
