The National Guard Bureau (NGB) conducts an eight-week accelerated OCS program for qualified personnel. This program is an intense course, conducted over 8 weeks, from June to August each year. At the successful completion of the course, you will be eligible for commissioning pending federal recognition.
Screening and indoctrination sessions occur during OCS IDT drills in the March-May period each year.
Enrollment Prerequisites
Applicants must meet appointment standards as prescribed in NGR (AR) 600-100. In addition to the State OCS enrollment prerequisites, an applicant must satisfy the following:

Civilian Education: Candidates must possess a minimum of 90 college credit hours from an accredited college or university (submit an official college transcript)

Medical: Chapter II Commissioning Physical must be complete and approved. (Coordinate through your local Recruiting Office or Post

Citizenship: you must be a U.S. citizen to enroll
